3M Vinyl Tape 471 in red is a 5.2 mil vinyl tape with a rubber-based adhesive that bonds on contact to most surfaces without dripping, drying time, or cleanup. The vinyl backing resists abrasion, scuffing, moisture, weathering, acids, and alkaline chemicals, supporting long service life under demanding conditions.
This tape is widely used for floor lane marking, color coding, splicing, patching, and surface identification in manufacturing plants, distribution centers, warehouses, and production facilities. Red pigment is locked directly into the vinyl film, maintaining high visibility without fading over time, and the tape conforms well to irregular surfaces.
Under normal removal conditions, this tape is designed to come off without leaving adhesive residue. Each case contains 24 rolls and ships via parcel carrier.
