3M™ 6969 Extra Heavy-Duty Duct Tape is a 10.7 mil silver tape built on a waterproof polyethylene-coated cloth backing that resists wear, abrasion, moisture, and weathering over the long term. At 2 inches wide by 60 yards per roll, it delivers the reach needed for large-scale sealing, patching, and bundling tasks without frequent roll changes.
The rubber-based adhesive bonds aggressively to metal, wood, plastic, and concrete, while tack-free edges prevent unintended sticking during handling and unwind. The backing conforms to irregular and rough surfaces without lifting, and the writable face supports on-the-spot labeling or color-coded marking in fast-moving environments such as construction sites, HVAC installations, facilities maintenance, and manufacturing plants.
