High-tensile steel strapping in a 1/2" wide by .020" gauge profile delivers heavy-duty break strength for securing and unitizing dense or irregularly shaped loads. Each coil is oscillated-wound to feed smoothly through strapping tools, then painted and waxed to reduce feeding friction and resist corrosion during storage and transit.
This strapping is the preferred choice where plastic strapping lacks the rigidity or break strength required. Typical applications include lumber yards, steel service centers, brick and block manufacturers, appliance distribution facilities, and heavy freight consolidation operations. The waxed surface ensures compatibility with standard sealless and seal-and-crimp steel strapping tools and tensioners.
Each coil runs 2,940 feet and weighs approximately 100 lbs. Coils ship on skids of 12. Freight delivery is required due to coil weight; contact for volume and skid quantity pricing.
