7/16" x 7000' - 16 x 6" Core Hand Grade Signode® Comparable Polypropylene Strapping - Smooth

This 7/16" x 7,000' smooth polypropylene hand strapping is wound on a 16 x 6" core for compatibility with standard hand tensioners and sealers. At 35.46 lbs per coil, the high footage yield reduces changeover frequency on active strapping lines, and the smooth finish works with both friction-weld and seal-and-crimp application methods.

The coil is directly comparable to Signode® 718, allowing facilities to substitute without retooling existing equipment — a practical advantage in warehouse receiving, manufacturing staging, and distribution environments where downtime for equipment adjustment is costly. Polypropylene construction weighs roughly half as much as equivalent steel strapping and eliminates the sharp-edge hazard associated with metal banding, making it well suited to high-volume manual strapping operations.

Black polypropylene offers weather resistance appropriate for both indoor storage and outdoor staging areas. The split-resistant material helps deter pilferage on unitized loads. Sold as a single coil and parcel-friendly.
