The S4SL® Spring-Back Safety Cutter is a self-retracting utility knife engineered specifically for left-handed users. The spring-back mechanism automatically retracts the blade the moment cutting pressure is released, and the blunt safety tip reduces puncture wound risk during carton opening and general cutting tasks.
This cutter is well suited for warehouses, fulfillment centers, distribution facilities, and manufacturing floors where high-volume box opening is routine. The top-cut blade position supports controlled carton scoring, while the built-in bladeless tape splitter lets workers cut tape without exposing a blade at all — reducing laceration risk during unpacking and repackaging workflows.
Each unit ships with one SP-017 Single-Notch Safety Blade and includes a five-blade onboard storage compartment for on-the-spot replacements. The high-visibility red handle is easy to locate at busy workstations. Cases contain 12 cutters and ship via parcel carrier.
